On December 3, to mark the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, the Louis Braille Campus officially opened its doors in the Duroc neighborhood of Paris, marking a major milestone in inclusion and innovation for the blind and visually impaired.
This new space, designed as a hub for learning and accessibility, will bring together, starting in January, startups, cutting-edge technologies, and services dedicated to promoting independence for people with visual impairments.
The Louis Braille Campus is designed to serve as a hub for a variety of disciplines—including artificial intelligence, medicine, science, engineering, and research—thereby fostering interdisciplinary collaboration that leads to innovative solutions.
Following the launch of the Campus, and after receiving 25 applications, 10 organizations were selected to join the incubator starting in January 2025 and benefit from the support of the Louis Braille Campus:

AlterMassage provides training for a variety of professions, including ergonomic massage, health prevention, sales, and business management.
Its LudAccess division is developing specialized services to make video games and escape rooms accessible.

Artha France is a mini-camera mounted on a pair of glasses that captures the user's surroundings. The images are transmitted to a haptic lumbar belt that generates micro-pressures, allowing the user to experience the environment through touch.

Connect, developed by Ezymob, is an all-in-one mobile app designed to improve mobility for people with disabilities and make the city more inclusive.

Virtuoz, developed by Feelobject, is a solution that uses tactile and voice-guided maps to help users understand their surroundings and navigate them independently.

GiveVision has developed a headset designed to enhance the experience at sporting and cultural events by making use of residual vision. The headset works like a pair of binoculars.

Rango, developed by GoSense, is redefining mobility with a white cane through technological solutions that detect obstacles, among other things.

Déri, from Handipulse, is a device designed to improve the accessibility of braille documents. It consists of a touch-sensitive surface on which an interchangeable braille document rests.

SonarVision is a highly accurate guidance system that uses geolocation to guide visually impaired people to their destination with meter-level precision.

In addition to the 10 incubated startups:
The EyeLevel organization has developed the EyeDrone, a drone capable of tracking and recognizing signs, text, voices, and objects while locating them.

These ten initiatives embody the Campus’s mission: to use innovation to promote inclusion.
New companies are expected to be selected as early as March.
These 10 organizations, as well as those to come, will be able to take advantage of various services offered by the Louis Braille Campus: a coworking space, participation in Campus events, group meetings, workshop organization, support, and mentoring…
