On December 3, the International Day of Disabled Persons, the Campus Louis Braille officially opened its doors in the Duroc district of Paris, marking a major step forward in inclusion and innovation for blind and partially-sighted people.
This new space, designed as a hub for learning and accessibility, will bring together start-ups, cutting-edge technologies and services dedicated to the autonomy of the visually impaired.
The Louis Braille Campus is designed to be at the crossroads of a wide range of disciplines: artificial intelligence, medicine, science, engineering and research, fostering interdisciplinary encounters that lead to innovative solutions.
Following the launch of the Campus, and after receiving 25 applications, 10 structures have been selected to join the incubator from January 2025 and benefit from the support of the Louis Braille Campus:

AlterMassage offers training in ergonomic massage, health prevention, sales and business management. 
Its LudAccess service is developing a specific offer to make video games and escape games accessible.

Artha France is a mini-camera attached to glasses that captures the user's environment. The images are transmitted to a haptic lumbar belt which generates micro-pressures, enabling the user to feel the environment tactilely.

Connect, developed by Ezymob, is an all-in-one mobile application designed to facilitate mobility for people with disabilities and make cities more inclusive.

Virtuoz, developed by Feelobject, is a solution featuring tactile and voice maps that enable users to understand their environment and move around independently.

GiveVision has developed a headset to enhance the experience during sporting and cultural events by enabling the use of residual vision. The helmet works like a pair of binoculars.

Rango, developed by GoSense, redefines mobility with a white cane thanks to technological solutions that detect obstacles.

Déri, from Handipulse, is a device designed to improve the accessibility of embossed documents. It consists of a tactile surface on which rests an interchangeable embossed document.

SonarVision is an ultra-precise guidance system that uses geolocation to guide visually impaired people to their destination down to the last metre.

The EyeLevel association has designed the EyeDrone, a drone capable of following and recognizing signs, texts, voices and objects while locating them.

These ten initiatives embody the Campus' mission: to put innovation at the service of inclusion.
New companies should be selected as early as March.
These 10 structures, and those to come, will be able to take advantage of the various services offered by the Campus Louis Braille: coworking facilities, participation in Campus events, collective meetings, organization of workshops, support and mentoring...
