Our Demo Day is back!

The Louis Braille Campus announces a new edition of its Demo Day dedicated to inclusive innovation

Following the success of its first edition in June 2025, Campus Louis Braille is hosting another Demo Day, with the theme: “Innovation for a more accessible world.” This event will take place on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, starting at 9 a.m., in Paris’s 7th arrondissement. Now a highly anticipated event in the inclusive innovation ecosystem, this year’s edition will highlight the challenges of universal design and international outreach.

The 2026 edition will offer visitors a hands-on experience of inclusive innovation:

  • Interactive booths will allow visitors to discover and try out the solutions developed by the participating startups.
  • Themed pitches during which startups will present their innovations across four themes: mobility, culture, education, and sports.
  • Expert presentations will explore the challenges of universal design, both in France and abroad.

The program:

  • 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.: Start-up exhibition and demonstration booths. See the list below.
  • At 9:30 a.m.: Opening remarks by Camille Gaillard-Minier, Minister Delegate for Autonomy and People with Disabilities; Azadeh Akrami-Castanon, Deputy Mayor of Paris in charge of accessibility, inclusion, and people with disabilities; and Laurène Messeca, Vice President of the Louis Braille Campus.
  • At 10 a.m.: Start-up pitches on the following topics: Mobility and Independence, Digital Accessibility and Technology, Inclusion, Sports and Support, Culture, Education, and Leisure.
  • At 11:15 a.m.: Introduction to the panel discussions with Jean Cabanes, Partner at Accenture, and Laurène Messeca, Vice President of Campus Louis Braille.
  • At 11:25 a.m.: Roundtable on universal design : Why and how should all aspects of disability be incorporated into innovations?, featuring: Franck Duthil, President of the La Handitech Association, Emmanuel Perret, Executive Director of the French Federation for Accessibility, Manuel Pereira, Head of the Digital Accessibility Division at the Valentin Haüy Association, Brice Métadier, Payments Expert and Project Manager for Payment/Withdrawal AccessibilityatCartes Bancaires, and Laurent Dordain, HR Project Manager at Engie.
  • At 12:00 p.m.: International Roundtable: A Look at the Challenges with Key International Stakeholders, featuring Sandy Lacey, Executive Director of the Perkins Innovation Center, Klaus Höckner, President of the Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired in Austria and Ambassador for the ZeroProject, Irene Long, Head of Global Operations and Business Innovation at Rokid AI, and Paulo Nucci, Head of Europe at BEPLAY.
  • At 12:45 p.m.: Signing of the agreement to establish the European Center for Universal Design and closing remarks.

Fourteen startups from the Louis Braille Campus will be participating in Demo Day on June 16, including some from the latest cohort from April 2026: LES YEUX DITS, Handipulse, orientIA, SeeHaptic, Lumyeye, GOSENSE, SightKick, Touchpulse B.V, BrailleRAP, BINOMES, Ezymob, SonarVision, Keynoa Technologies, and Visioptronic.

Other startups and companies have joined the Demo Day lineup and will present their products or services: BEPLAY, Rokid, Accessiway, Kivala, LightHouse Tech, MINA, and CRFP Valentin Haüy.
