Six new startups are joining the Louis Braille Campus 

The Louis Braille Campus has welcomed its fourth cohort, consisting of six startups specializing in accessibility and independent living technologies, as well as one pre-incubation project.

• AudioDimension

AudioDimension is developingdynamic spatial audiotechnology designed for wayfinding. Compatible with smartphones, this solution aims to reduce reliance on screens while empowering users to navigate their daily journeys more independently.

• Lumyeye

‍

Lumyeye offers avoice-activated mobile appthat uses the smartphone’s camera to describe the surroundings in real time. The app brings together severalassistive features, providing a comprehensive, inclusive tool.

• BrailleRAP

‍

BrailleRAP is developing anopen-source braille printercapable of producing braille documents and tactile materials. The project is part of an initiative to make manufacturing accessible and reproducible, thereby facilitating the widespread use of braille.

• UniversJo

‍

Through its "Audiodescription Available" project, UniversJo aims to makecultural, sporting, and musical eventsaccessible to people with visual impairments using a mobile device and in-person assistance.

• Touchpulse

‍

Touchpulse is developingTiera, a navigation app that combines conversational artificial intelligence with real-time human assistance. Designed for people with visual impairments, this app offers a hybrid and responsive support system.

• Visioptronics

‍

Visioptronics designselectronic mobility aids: the Tom Pouce cane and the BeMob device. These tools use infrared and laser technologies to improve obstacle detection and make getting around safer.

In the pre-incubation phase

Lunae Technologiesis also joining the campus for the pre-incubation phase, the first step toward full integration into the support program.

Lunae is developing real-time computer vision technology capable of describing the environment, detecting obstacles, and identifying everyday objects.

This new cohort of startups underscores thecampus’s momentum in the field of accessibility solutions, featuring a variety of approaches—software, hardware, and hybrid—designed to promote independence for people with visual impairments.
